While we had hoped to have seen a marked improvement in business conditions, our survey and feedback indicate that it remains very tough for small business. According to our latest Momentum Survey, just 31 per cent of businesses are confident in their own prospects. Input costs, staff shortages, higher interest rates, compliance burdens and weaker customer demand are the primary reasons eroding business confidence.

The Digital Enterprise Program is a Government initiative that will help all types of businesses improve their online presence, offer new products and services, expand their market, improve their competitiveness and increase communication with customers and suppliers. The Digital Enterprise program provides free group training and one-on-one coaching support for small to medium enterprises (SME) and not-for-profits (NFP) to help improve the way they do business and deliver goods and services online.
