Chatswood Chamber of Commerce at Emerge Festival
What a wonderful day celebrating community, culture and connection at the Emerge Festival!
Chatswood Chamber of Commerce was delighted to once again take part in this much-loved annual celebration, proudly joining Willoughby City Council, local organisations, businesses and community groups in bringing the heart of Chatswood to life.
The Chamber has always valued its close relationship with Council and actively engages in initiatives that support local businesses, strengthen our local economy and celebrate the cultural diversity that makes Chatswood such a vibrant and welcoming place. It was a pleasure to continue this tradition for another year and to connect with so many business owners, community leaders, residents and visitors throughout the day.
With bright blue skies and beautiful sunshine marking the beginning of spring, there was already a wonderful sense of warmth and energy in the air. Victoria Avenue and the surrounding streets were filled with friendly faces, colourful performances, live entertainment and more than 170 market stalls showcasing local businesses, food, creativity and culture.
One of the day’s highlights was the vibrant community parade, which brought together more than 500 participants, including cultural groups, local organisations, marching bands and performers. The lively atmosphere reflected the diversity, creativity and strong community spirit that Chatswood is known for.
Events such as the Emerge Festival provide an important opportunity for local businesses to connect directly with the community, increase their visibility and contribute to a thriving local economy. It was fantastic to see the streets filled with people discovering local products, supporting traders and enjoying everything Chatswood has to offer.
