July Coffee Catch Up 2026 Highlights
On Tuesday, 28 July 2026, we welcomed more than 40 attendees to our monthly Coffee Catch-Up at Brew Kiosk in Chatswood, held as usual from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on the last Tuesday of the month.
It was wonderful to see both familiar friends and new faces from across our membership and the wider business community. While President Jam Xia was away on a work trip, Vice President Courtney Owings stepped in to open the event, welcome attendees, and host the morning’s catch-up.
We also highlighted the fantastic work being undertaken by our Health Sub-committee, led by Board Member Dr William Yiu. The sub-committee is currently planning a special R U OK? Day event on 17 September 2026, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, wellbeing and meaningful conversations within our business community.
The event will be held at the Chatswood RSL Club venue, Level 2, 8 Thomas Street, Chatswood. Light refreshments will be provided, together with practical presentations and engaging discussions designed to support both personal well-being and healthier, more sustainable businesses. This year’s theme, “A Holistic Way to Become Truly Healthy—for You and Your Business,” reflects the committee’s commitment to supporting both personal wellbeing and sustainable business success. Many of our health-sector members attended the July Coffee Catch-Up and shared valuable insights into the continued growth and direction of the Health Sub-Committee.
Courtney also introduced the Chamber’s inaugural End-of-Year Gala Night, a new initiative designed to strengthen business relationships and create further opportunities for connection and collaboration. The event is planned for November 2026, with further details to be announced.

5. Community Flower Studio (Social Enterprise)

The Community Flower Studio (CFS) is a youth-focused charity (registered with ACNC) that operates a social enterprise arm selling flowers and pot plants to the public through pop-up stalls. All net proceeds will fund CFS' Youth Mental Health Program (e.g., Creative Workshops for Young People, by Young People).
