NetStripes invites you to Bizruption II

Wednesday, 22 July 2015

The Chamber’s role is to keep our members well informed of things that could positively impact on their operations. In that regard, we have come across the following event, mainly suitable for emerging technology companies or businesses that may be affected by disruptive technology. It is also an opportunity to network with a very different crowd in a new environment. Please note that Chatswood Chamber is not promoting or endorsing the event, but is aiming to keep our members informed of events that may interest them.

NetStripes invites you to Bizruption II.

Due to overwhelming response from Bizruption held in May, NetStripes has decided to make it a regular affair and will host Bizruption II in July.

This is a meet up for small business owners and technologists to fuel innovation and change in your businesses and industry. With technology disrupting every industry, we believe small business owners can drive change in your respective industries as opposed to being the victims of this disruption.

It would be a pleasure for us, to have you amongst our attendees in Bizruption II where you will have the opportunity to meet different business owners and technologists who will share their innovative ideas as well as discuss the obstacles they face in their efforts to grow their businesses and their industry.

Venue: The Idea Space - Fishburners, 608 Harris St, Ultimo 2007 - Recently referred as “Silicon Beach” of Australia by The Australian Financial Review.
Date: 22nd July, 2015
Time: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Highlights from Bizruption 1

In Bizruption I, our Guests of Honour Kate Carnell AO, the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) and Alex Greenwich MP - Independent member for Sydney, spoke about the current challenges the Australian small businesses are facing due to the importance of being digitally engaged. Kate also mentioned if each small business employed one extra person, our unemployment problem in Australia would be resolved.
