Our presenters: Ross Greenwood, Finance Editor, Nine Network Australia and
Besa Deda, Chief Economist St.George Banking Group.

 Ross Greenwood is the Nine Network’s Business and Finance Editor, and was co-host of its former flagship current affairs program Sunday. Ross has reported on economic issues in Australia and around the world for over 30 years and his assignments for Nine have taken him to Europe, Asia and the Middle East. As well, Ross is host of the top rating radio program, Money News, on 2GB in Sydney and MTR in Melbourne. His program has a massive share of the over 25’s audience.

Before joining Nine, Ross was Editor-in-Chief and Co-creator of the British weekly magazine, Shares, and its accompanying website moneyam.com. He remains a part-owner.

In London, he was a regular commentator on BBC television, CNN, Sky News and Bloomberg and a regular co-host of BBC Radio Five Live’s main business program, Wake Up To Money.

Besa Deda is the Chief Economist of the St.George Banking Group,which includes St.George Bank, Bank SA, Bank of Melbourne and RAMS. Besa was appointed to this role in early 2008, and in her role as Chief Economist is the Bank’s economic spokesman and is responsible for all the Bank’s economic and capital markets research. This includes forecasts for the economic outlook, interest rates and currencies.

Prior to joining St.George Besa was a Senior Strategist and Economist with the Commonwealth Bank and was with CBA for nearly 8 years and prior to that, an economist with the Colonial Group.

Collectively, Besa has almost 20 years experience in Financial Markets, holds an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Sydney and a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University, and is a Member of the Executive Committee of the Australian Business Economists Association.
