Wanted – new directors with commercial experience, fresh ideas and energy for the Board of the North Shore’s leading business group, the Chatswood Chamber of Commerce.
The Board has several vacancies and, as the economy grows, is finding a number of businesses seeking business advice and support.
We want some new blood and we’re looking for local business men and women who believe they have something to contribute to the economy of the North Shore.
It’s a great networking opportunity for your own business but it is also a chance to pass on business experience, tips and specialist advice that can only be acquired from people who have worked for some time in an industry.
The Chamber has more than 100 business Members across a wide range of industry sectors, and have regular monthly business networking luncheons with a chance for our Members to also address the lunch.
We also run very popular Business After Hours events. These are opportunities for Member companies to showcase their business, products, staff and services to other Members at their business location.
Commitments for a Board member is attendance at most of our functions, and a monthly Thursday 7.45am Board meeting. .
Membership of a Chamber of Commerce today is a vital business option for companies as the economy grows and every business is looking for its next opportunity to expand or grow its market, find new customers and keep their company in the minds of current, past and potential customers. Of course, to be eligible to become a Board member, the person’s company has to be a Member of the Chamber.
